Crazy Cupcakes

Beyond expectations
The Boho Cafe is a truly wonderful place not only is the service fantastic, the decor is brilliant and the food is freshly cooked! Despite being a little on the small side this cafe really is a great place to go in Canterbury whether you want morning coffee, lunch, afternoon tea or dinner! The staff are always friendly and attentive and willing to explain dishes or give suggestions. The food is always very good I can especially recommend the king prwns in chilli and garlic butter, the burgers and the Eton mess! They also do a very good line in milkshakes and "crazy cupcakes" which are always brilliantly decorated in bright colours and glitter (they also taste good)! The Boho cafe also caters for those with food allergies doing wheat and gluten free options.

How bohemian are you?

Above expectations
This hip coffee shop simply screams 'paisly' and has a chilled out bohemian feel to it. I havn't been in since the smoking ban, but before it, it was the only restaurant/cafe in Canterbury with no non smoking section- so Im guessing the outdoor tables will have become suddenly popular even in the winter as the cafe has become very popular with both regulars and tourists- at lunch time you have to be lucky to get a seat. If you can afford to splash out for this cafes often organic menu it is a wonderful place to eat, or even just to sit and have a hot drink. It is run by a couple who recently married (Mr and Mrs Boho) who have provided the most relaxing hang out in Canterbury.
