When doing a Saturday evening round of Canterbury the Ocakbasi of Kent kebab shop is great for a mid evening snack break. There's the usual array of different kebabs but also pizza, burgers, fried chicken and even a few vegetarian options. My favourite has to be the good old doner kebab with chilli sauce. The kebab meat seems to have something just a little different which makes it tastier than other kebabs in the area and the chilli sauce is easily the best I have tasted anywhere, it has a nice paprika taste to it making it unique to Ocakbasi. The medium doner kebab at £4.10 is excellent value for money as you get more than enough to keep you going for the rest of the evening.
Thoroughly recommended for your Saturday nights out in town and also for those lazy nights in when you can't be bothered to cook with free delivery all round the Canterbury area for orders above £10.
