Slug & Lettuce has been a bit of an insitution and 'must go to' pubs in Chichester for quite a few years now.

Now open until 1am it has transformed to from being a pre-Thursdays meeting point to an all evening destination.

I prefer to get there early, grab a table and enjoy something from the menu as I've never been let down by the food - be it a simple Duck wrap or Nachos, followed by a Fishcake salad.

Then its back to the main reason for being there - enjoying the buzzy atmosphere and seeing who else is out on the town that night!

Be warned though - the drinks are definitely not the cheapest in town.

This is as good as it gets I am afraid. I like it but it does shut at about 12:30pm - they have offers on whole bottles of wine so don't bother by the glass.
