Taxi Tips

Tips to Ensure you don't get ripped off by Taxi Cheats at Thursdays or anywhere else for that matter.
First ask for a rough idea of the Price. A 3 mile journey should cost around £10.
If you don't like the price quoted move on to the next one, there are plenty of us there that do the job properly.
If you think you have been ripped off ask for a receipt, take the Drivers Badge number and Plate number from the back of the cab. Also note the licensing authority's name. Should be Either Chichester or Arun District Council. Use the Drivers Badge number and Plate number to report them to the appropriate council. The Council have to investigate any complaints.
Avoid using Private Hire or Bognor (Arun) Cabs unless you have prebooked. Private Hire are not legally allowed to ply for hire so their insurance will be invalid unless you have pre booked. Arun cabs are not legally allowed to ply for hire out of their district so their insurance is also Invalid unless they have been pre booked.
Follow these guidelines and hopefully we can push the cheats out. Taxi Fares are expensive enough without drivers ripping people off. The only reason they are still doing it is because some people are paying it.
Should be closed down

I went to this club for the fist time last month.Arrived at 11.30 left by 12.15,Two blokes started a fight next to me,knocked me over and then i got dragged outside by the doormen To sum it up ended up getting done over by the two large fat doormen around the back where there is no cameras. As they kept telling me.Ended up in hospital for 5 hours with bruises and cuts and 2 teeth missing. Now in the hands of the police.
Stay well clear

Top Night out!

Beyond expectations
For ages 18 - 25 this is a really decent club to turn up and dance all night long drunk! Although it is really expensive for a drink (isn't everywhere nowdays?) top suggestions, get drunk down at the local pub, jump on the FREE BUS there an then jump on it on the way home. And it's hardly expensive to get in. Music is always good from top dance songs mixed with some classics!

Thursdays these days ain't what it used to be (but then we all say that when we get old!). As a result I'm loathed to give it a bad review.
Taxi's to & from Thursdays do cost a bomb but if you're prepared to slum it there is a free bus service that runs to and from the local town centres every half hour. Like all other cheesey clubs the drinks aren't the cheapest these days but if you're bored down the pub and fancy a late drink it will cater for all your drunken dancing needs (its open to 4am these days!)

Oh my god - do you remember those god awful clubs you went to as a teeny bopper? hellish in one word - in the middle of nowhere - full of chavs and £6 for a jug of watered down beer - yuk! Also costly to get in and the taxi firms rip you off on the way home - £20 for three miles - I don't thinks so.
