Below expectations
This was rebuilt last year and while I'm sure it's much more hygenic and safe than the previous 'tip', it's hard to see how anyone starting with a blank sheet of paper could have managed to build anything so user unfriendly. Most of the household traffic is at weekends and most of that involves garden rubbish. Basically you drive round the site dropping off at the various points (bottles, clothes, electrical items, wood etc.) The problem is, there is only one lane so if you've just called in to drop off some clothes, you have to rejoin the queue and tour all the way round the site behind those queuing up to get rid of their garden waste, which, needless to say, is at the very end of the circuit. Surely a seperate exit lane could have been built in? As i say it is very safe, but on a sunny Saturday or Sunday, don't think about just 'popping down the dump.' It can take you half an hour to get out again.
