EXCELLENT CARVERY

Above expectations
Having eaten at The Priory Carvery for many years I, like most of my friends, were saddened to hear that that horrid Chef Mr Ramsay had been in and muddled around with things. HOWEVER, much to my pleasure I have since learned that THE CARVERY HAS RETURNED.
I have been back to the restaurant many times last year since the carvery has been reinstated and all I can say is LOVELY LOVELY LOVELY. The selection of meat available is wide and cooked perfectly. The vegetables fresh and hot and with a good selection of starters and desserts available you can't help but have a good meal.
WELL DONE to all there, lets hope, like me and my family have, your old trusted customers return back "to the fold"
Been a couple of times

Well below expectations
First time got turned out into the cold from the bar, somewhere about our 2nd pint because we had a dog with us (even though there were other dogs in the bar who's owners werent turned out.)
Second time got refused entry by a jobsworth doorman (it was very early evening and the place was .. and remained empty)
Seems expensive with no atmosphere, the food is awful and the beer isnt great either.
Won't go again - lots of nicer places in HH who are happy to see us.

Shamefully bad

Well below expectations
This restaurant served good food for a time following its appearance on Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares. However, I regret to report that it has since, in an amazing show of cowardice, reverted to a carvery.
As is to be expected with this sort of industrial-style food preparation, it has returned to the overcooked, bland, generally off food that it had prepared long before Gordon's visit.
Shameful! Someone needs to buy the place from its current owner and actually invest some effort and creativity into the space.

Carvery to return?

Just around a year since Gordon Ramsey rejuvenated the Priory by turning it into a Grill and Restaurant, I hear they are now planning to return it to a Carvery again - why?
I had previously made several visits to the former Priory Carvery for family gatherings and on each occasion found the food lacking. The meat too well cooked and the vegetable's stoggy.
I await positive feedback before I make another visit.
I wonder if Gordon Ramsay will be dropping in again? Hope so, it'll make good TV.

As expected
Like most I saw Gordon Ramsey give the Priory his treatment but since then I've heard nothing but good reports about the Grill and restaurant.
I recently went to the Priory for a party they have an excellent function room (didn't know it existed) the buffet food was very good, the bar close by and the service very friendly.

Went here for a Southern FM live at the local event with The Feeling. It was a great night and I thought the venue was excellent - huge! It's easy to find, just through Haywards Heath off the A23. I saw it recently on an episode of Gordon Ramsey's kitchen nightmares and it has rather put me off going for something to eat there.
