If there is no where else to go , then this is the place for you, dark , rough , cheap and for the most part nasty , but if you like that sort of stuff grab a batton and away we go

If you are over 25 dont even bother. LLoyds is a mecca for very young, very drunk teens and early twenties. Sells cheap booze and the dress code for girls is wear very little!! Its also so dark you cant se infront of you! On the plus side they do good cheap food during the day, esp breakfast.

Lloyds bar is a great bar with bouncers on a saturday night to ensure the no trainers rule, which they are very strict on. Its a popular bar in the theatre district and stays open late mid week too.

Pump it up

If you like loud music and are drunk then you will love it in here. There are too many people in here for me and even after they've extended it its crammed, with the little dance floor and big screen its quite a tardis of a place. Best not need the loo in here, you'll never get there.

loyds isnt an amzing night club but i think what makes it good is the pople that go there really. the booze is reasonably cheap but the atmosphere is nevertheless reasonable.

Pretty average

23 Apr 08, 11:48 3* As expected

I'm not a massive fan of Lloyds - it's OK but definitely not the place to go if you actually want to have a chat with someone. Plus last time I went, the girls seemed to have difficulty in grasping the concept of wearing clothing. One girl decided to wear a TINY white mini skirt with no underwear which fully rode up as she danced - the bar got to see everything. She wasn't the only girl so keen to flash the flesh, so if you fancy a bit of a perve, then I think you'll like it. As bars go in MK it's pretty average but certainly not worth heading out to for a whole evening...

Buzzing

Its one of the main bars in the theatre district, always busy and buziing on a night out, great atmosphere and wicked music with everything from old skool, cheese and r n b through to rock and hip hop.

The only problem is waiting time at the bar, but its that good you don't actually mind hanging on for a bit!

More a club than bar

Lloyds is great if you like your music LOUD and you like not being able to move. Its a great pulling place and open til the early hours. After the extension its created a great dance floor. Always a pumping atmosphere, but not for the sober.

A good giggle

Whenever I head out into the Theatre District I always end up here! Its pretty cheap and it gets quite busy on weekends meaning theres a great atmosphere inside. Its a great place to hang out with friends! Its annoying how all the smokers stand outside though - sometimes blowing smoke in your direction before you go inside.

Cheap and very cheeful

21 Apr 08, 14:12 4* Above expectations

Of the 4 Weatherspoon venues that I can immediately think of in MK, this has to be the finest.

Spread across 2 floors and a semi-outsidey bit, there’s plenty of room for eating, drinking, dancing at cavorting. The food and drink are spoontastically good value (cheap) and in the words of R Kelly, if Lloyds in the Theatre District were a woman, she’s got that vibe.

Decent pre club bar

The best thing about this place is the price of the drinks!

Rammed on Fridays and Saturdays, with a friendly crowd. A good starting point if you're out on the town / pull.

Number One. Definitely.

18 Apr 08, 18:39 5* Beyond expectations

This is the best place to go out in the Theatre District, I reckon. It's got a slightly older, cooler crowd and the music's great. Usually everyone is queueing at the bar so it can take ages to get served but you wont be complaining cos the drinks are pretty reasonable, they do good cocktails and we always have a good night when we go there. Definitely recommended.
