full of wino's

30 May 08, 13:25 3* As expected

Great for a cheap drink but full of men who think nothing of drinking pints at 10am. Good cheap food. Breakfast is good and nice coffee for about a 3rd of the costa price but not very clean.

Moon

In the summer months its good to sit outside here and people watch, it gets really busy and is full of young people which really adds to feel of the place. Its a decent bar in MK, and very busy.

Sit outside

During the weekends on Fri and Saturday this place is pumping, but i think its nicer to come early evening in the decent weather and sit outside and people watch. Its calmer and attracts a nice crowd. Theres never really any trouble either.

Hmmmmmm - bit busy

24 Apr 08, 10:00 2* Below expectations

This place gets REALLY busy on a Friday and Saturday night, but I'm not quite sure why. I guess the drinks are really cheap so people tend to start the night off there. It's pretty average... not worth a special visit for

Spoon-standard

21 Apr 08, 14:43 3* As expected

Another one of the four spooners in MK – this one isn’t a Lloyds bar though, so music and flashing lights are replaced by the sounds of conversations and the faint glow of the exit sign.

Probably my least favourite Weatherspoons in the city, it’s fine for a cheap meal and a couple of pints of cold beer.

Under Performing

It's a little disappointing in here. The bar's nicely designed and they could make more of it, but instead it's a bit tatty and feels a bit unclean when you walk in. Food is cheap - my Dad had a curry and he was really pleased with it. And you cant complain about the drinks prices. They are very reasonable. If your expectations are low you'll be pleasantly surprised. I didnt stay too long though.
