Good show, expensive for a family
30 May 08, 16:58
As expected
Have now been a few times mainly for Pantomime and kids shows. The ticket prices are acceptable and the shows always deliver exactly what it says on the tin. However to take the family and get some drinks and chocolate is very expensive and takes the shine off a good night out

I have watched a number of plays here and there hasn't been a production that I haven't enjoyed. The Agatha Christine productions have been as good as any I have seen in the West End. I have been with my wife, friends and my nieces so they cater for all ages. Many of the shows stop here prior to going to London so the quality is high and they attract a high calibre of actors. There's plenty of parking and loads of bars/restaurants to frequent pre or post shows.

The theatre staff was very helpful and friendly. The drinks were highly priced. However is was a good night out and a great change to the cinema. For the ladies there is plenty of room in the ladies to do your makeup!

Awwww I went to the opera here about a year ago (not my choice...) and have been to see a few shows. It's really impressive inside - spacious with plenty of room to sit. You will come across a fair few snobs who tell you off for sneezing (well, if you're going to the opera) but it's definitely a great place to see shows. They had whatshisface from Corrie in the panto at Christmas, Bradley Walsh, that's the one... so it attracts some fairly big names too

I really love MK Theatre.
It's really modern, bright and clean and in a really great location.
All of the staff are really friendly and they have excellent shows there.
My only negative is that it can get a bit cold in the auditorium so I'd recommend taking a jumper!

Everything I've seen here has been outstanding - we're so lucky to have such a nice theatre on our doorstep and we often get west end shows trying out before they go to London. Recently Zorro and Never Forget (the Take That musical) were excellent. I heard good things about Equus (my friend saw Lily Allen's brother's "Alfie Junior" during this show). And the annual panto is brilliant family fun. Top marks for MK Theatre!

MK Theatre has all the big show before the head to London's famous West End beofre they set up camp, plus all the UK travelling shows, and stand up comics.
Its definatly worth heading down there and listening to Horizon Radio for intevies with the cast and finding out whats coming to Milton Keynes!
