As expected
The jury's out a bit on this one. It goes for mass market appeal and generally feels like a bit of a busman's canteen with people rushing backwards and forwards all the time to the buffet. It's not the smart, intimate romantic lakeside restaurant that it could and maybe should be but that aside if you do go for the all in one buffet (£15 most nights) then it is fantastic as it includes virtually everything on the menu and gives you full access to the cold desert fridge to boot. So if you like the pile it high and sell it cheap approach to restauranting you'll love this one.

Fab food; fab variety; fab service; fab views of lake. I have always had a great experience with great food here and have never had reason to complain. PS, their Friday night buffet is always popular and a good way to sample a large variety from the menu. I find the price very reasonable as well - my husband and I recently enjoyed starters, main course with sides and drinks for under £40. The buffet on Fridays and Saturdays is under £15 each.

One of the best chinese restaurants in MK, the menu is extensive, and the location is perfect. The bang bang chicken starter is my personal favourite and their stire fried chicken with five spices is nice but not too hot which is great.

I couldnt believe my luck with this place - it's stunning. Aside a lake and amazingly idyllic it looks like something out of a chinese postcard. If they have them in China. But if they did then this would make a lovely postcard. Menu ranges from alacarte to the gourmet buffet and the food is as good as the view. Parking's free and they do a 20% discount on take away food - shame you cant take away the view. Well maybe they'd let you keep the chopsticks.
