I feel special when I come in here.
I love weddings and home things and they have a brilliant section on both.
And....I know this isn't their shop....but their online service is great too.
I ordered some lovely flowers yesterday and they've arrived already.

Mr John Lewis must be laughing all the way to the bank! this store is shocking but in a very good way, i nearly fell over when i walked in and saw the size of it and then as i walked through it kept getting better. shoes, handbags and posh frocks, i was in heaven! i have never experienced better service from a member of staff in any other store. they are so willing and really make you feel welcome. i have used the cafe mind you and found it very expensive, if i ate here all the time id be bankrupt!

You just can not beat John Lewis as far as im concerened. The stock is immense in here, from rugs to garden furniture, gym gear and tvs and some great ladies fashions wear and mens. Plus if anything is not right, they will take it back no questions.

I love John Lewis the service is unbelievable, especially for returning something, just for changing your mind, absolutely no problem at all, the bag and shoe sections are really good and the kitchen bit upstairs is really cool with everything you could want. Good kids toy section upstairs too.

John Lewis is one of the best department store.
I have order carpets from the one in milton kenyes in the past and the customer service and carpet fitters were ever so pleasent. Also have brought a mattress and sofas from here the best ones i have ever had
Would recommend to anybody

For some reason I feel like I spent half of my childhood in the John Lewis cafe looking down on everyone doing their shopping... it would be the oasis I longed for while my mother dragged me around her endless shops on a Saturday. This shop is gorgeous but as you would always expect from John Lewis, although never knowingly undersold, they're still pricey. The furniture is stunning as is all the wall art you can buy. The cafe is a good size, expensive, but you can get a really nice lunch. Ideal at Christmas as they really push the boat out with all the decorations, plus you can look down on Middleton Hall and watch all the decorations and exhibitions. They have massive perfume and makeup counters of which I could quite easily spend 24 hours standing beside. For huge choice it's the ideal place - they even have a whole material section if you make dresses. I recently went in with a friend who was buying an Ipod docking system and the girl who helped her (refreshing change to have a female working in the gadget department) was very helpful and objective with her opinion. Only downside is, because all the shops I prefer are down the other end of the centre, I rarely venture all the way to Middleton Hall noawdays...

Good store, bad cafe

As expected
A good department store with plenty of options of clothing, electricals and more. I’ve been to the café upstairs though and that was busy, expensive and the coffee I got, not actually that nice. As department stores go, it’s great, as cafés go… probably best to stick to Starbucks or Costa.

The service in this place is so good it's incredible. When I'm flush i try and get all my stuff here - furnishings, clothes even lighting and clocks.
My John Lewis wallet is five years old and still not in bits.
Good on yer JL
