Legs

29 May 08, 19:26 4* Above expectations

If you're going here then rest your legs, its huge! It has everything you need all under one roof. Some great chain shops, a few huge department stores, including M & S and the biggest John Lewis you'll see outside of Oxford Street. Their is loads of parking, with bays in the red area a £ an area, purple spaces 25p per hour, and the green spaces are free so try and find one of those! You'll have a great day out and definatly leave happy.....but tired!!

Very green

23 May 08, 23:34 5* Beyond expectations

They've just been voted as the greenest retailers in the UK and quite rightly so. They have a reverse rceyclig machine and also have their own onsite food composter called Big Hanna. They also have great shops....everythng you need!

Awesome

16 May 08, 19:28 4* Above expectations

This place is great, under cover all the way round and has so many shops its unbelievable, the parking is a nightmare sometimes and the traffic wardens wont give you any extra seconds, so beware.

Be in the mood!

22 Apr 08, 18:07 3* As expected

There are a few really great places hidden away in this massive shopping centre that as a Northampton girl I will venture out to visit such as Zara but if I can avoid it then I will. It is enormous and whilst this is great for big shops such as the Christmas shop (as everything really is under one roof) it is not the place to shop unless you are really in the mood to go on a mission.

It is great for choice though as it is so MASSIVE so if you fancy lunch and a stole worth a visit.

Bigger isn't always better

22 Apr 08, 17:16 3* As expected

If you love shopping, this is your heaven! It is enormous. It goes on forever. BUT if you don't like crowds, I would suggest you get there for 9am on a Saturday morning or go on a weekday. When it's quiet, this place is great, but when it's heaving, it can be torture trying actually see anything! Parking is REALLY expensive too. Avoid the red zones as it'll cost you £1 an hour and if you're there all day, it adds up quickly. If you're like me and don't like shopping, then drop off your partner/friends/family and go and sit in one of the millions of coffee houses (costa above Waterstones is lovely) while they force their way through the crowds....

The best shopping centre in miles

22 Apr 08, 14:01 4* Above expectations

This is the closest “everything under one roof” shopping centre I know of within 50 miles of Flitwick.

They really do have everything here – there’s clothes, shoes, food, drink, household – the lot.

Plus every big department store you can think of – a massive John Lewis, BHS, Debenhams, House of Fraser – what more could you ask for?

And the best bit – free parking (if you know where to look!)

No Need To Go Elsewhere

21 Apr 08, 10:50 4* Above expectations

When I first moved to Milton Keynes, I went 'round' CMK so many times you wouldn't believe, once you get used to the bizarre lay out (2 huge lines on one floor) you will find everything you need.

As well as all the shops you need in one centre it has so many great places to eat, and its own market, you seriously need not go elsewhere!

Bring the kids they'll sleep well after cos its a lot of walking!!

Long... very long.

14 Apr 08, 18:12 3* As expected

A huge shopping centre, that suffers from the layout of Milton Keynes. It's all the shops that you would expect, however, unlike Bluewater's 2 tiered triangle set it... the Centre MK is two parrallel corridoors of shops. Bring comfortable shoes.

There's also an odd spur off one side of the centre with extra shops like Gap, good luck if you can work out which section your in from the "You Are Here" maps. However once you've figured it all out, pretty much everything you could want is there for you.
