Above expectations
It is a great gym that offers so much. You have the gym, the pool, tennis and loads of classes to do. What I really like though is the hot tub, sauna and steam room to relax in after the work. They also do really well for kids with a creche, swimming lessons and loads of great clubs in the school holidays. A great place to have fun, get fit and relax.

Below expectations
David Lloyd is high quality and the food and after gym experience is quite pleasurable. However, they place the gym upstairs and it's vast.
One of the biggest gyms I've ever been in, it' feels impersonal and a bit like a warehouse. If they made battery chickens excercise this is what it would be like.
Actually, that's not quite right, it's not cramped but it's really soulless and although you can generally get yourself on the cardio equipment it lacks an atmosphere
