Good local, bit rough

Above expectations
was my local for many years - really loved it, was one of the few 'pub' pubs, not a wine bar! But recenlty has become a bit rougher and wouldn't feel as safe going in on my own! But if that deosn't put you off, it has a pool table, darts board and games.

Great place to go

Beyond expectations
I spent many a long hour in the Corner House. It was just round the corner from work therefore I warranted a visit most days after work. When Jan was the landlady there you guaranteed your pint poured and waiting on the bar as she saw you coming in. They had some great tunes on the juke box and the atmosphere was awesome!
