Pricey

As expected
I'd give this more stars, if it wasn't all so expensive. You've got to hand it to Disney, the store is beautifully laid out, it really is a fun place to go, but you can't head into it with children unless you're going to be prepared to spend money - and boy once you start, the money goes so quickly. Still, I guess people are prepared to pay those prices, so it must be worth it.

Lose yourself at Disney

Beyond expectations
The Disney Store is located in the Oracle Shopping centre in the heart of Reading. It is one of those shops where you can browse and lose yourself for an afternoon. When my niece was younger we would often end up here and spend quite a long time looking around. The Disney Store sells stuff which basically has a Disney theme as you can imagine. A paradise for both small and not so small children! There are clothes that can be bought here such as ballerina type outfits in the style of Angelina Ballerina or some other similar movie, whatever is around at the time. There are socks, fun slippers and even gloves of characters such as Pooh Bear and of course, mugs, key rings, pens and pencil cases to name a few. Toys are also available here. I remember seeing some Mickey Mouse toys and various robot toys again depending on what movies have been around recently. Toy Story charcacters are a favourite and I have seen most of the main characters here. It really is worth a look for the novelty value, and you never know, you may end up enthralled and buy stuff you didn't know you wanted. The Disney Store is located in The Lower Mall, The Oracle Shopping Centre, City Centre, Reading, RG1 2AH and tel: 01189 502363 and the web site is http://disney.store.go.com.
