Is probably the closest proper (rather than wannabe) Gastro pub nr my house. Looks like any rural pub from the outside but inside its a very good restaurant.
Waiting staff arent always the best I find but the food is normally very good. Decent selection and reasonably priced especially for lunch.
Gets busy so make sure you book to avoid disappointment. Car park also a little small so may end up parked on the road.

Old rural pub - good for quality food, drink and atmosphere.
Small garden to enjoy in the summer.
Tends to get very busy Fri/Sat/Sun evenings so you need to book those.

Above expectations
I love this gastro-pub for its lovely dark inside, its great food and its excellent service. We wanted to stay all night. It's not cheap, but it's a great place to go for a classy meal.
