This dirty little pub is always full of the worst type of people; I did go there a few years ago and stupidly popped in to see an old friend recently.

The refurbishment has improved it slightly but the carpets are still sticky and cliental dodgy. They only good think I will say about it is the events it often holds to tempt new people in. Check them out to see if there is anything worth going to but I highly doubt it.

If you remember the Two Pops from years ago as being a bit down-at-heel, it's worth trying it again, it's been refurbished and is a much nicer place now, including big TV for sports if you want somewhere to watch the football.
