Above expectations
Definately worth a visit. Light and airy so it's a pleasant atmosphere. A nice place to come if you fancy a light lunch, but don't fancy tracking down a Wehterspoons or forking out for a restaurant.
Can get very busy in the evening with students discussing their BUSA league placings

As expected
The slug and lettuce is a nice venue - not dark and dingy, which is a bit of a rarity in Bath.
They do reasonable chainpub food - with good drinks and food offers. Nice during the daytime - but can get filled with the sporty student types in the evenings.

I love this venue in bath. It's nice and light and airy and really well set out. It's nice and relaxed and really does well day or night.
the food is lovely and it really fits in well with the whole Bath high street.

Beyond expectations
The slug and lettuce is much more than it sounds, its good food, great evening good fun and fantastic cocktails. Its a must in Bath.
