Really good kids section and all the books are easy to find. Staff are helpful and, at Chrimbo, there are often three for one offers. They have signings there, but these are usually on work days!

Great bookshop, with a great coffee shop attached.
They sell all all the usual teas and coffees, plus lots of speciality drinks if that's your thing. I recommend the blueberry muffin too!
A perfect place for a coffee and catch up with old friends.

Waterstones is a brilliant little cove to head to when the hustle and bustle of Castle Point all gets too much, because you can go and find yourself a good book, and sit down and give it a little 'test read' in a little alcove. And my, what a large selection of books they have too!
From the latest bestsellers, a cook book from a telly chef trying to earn a few extra million, to books you didn't know existed but find strangely intriguing - I once spent an hour waiting for a friend by reading up on "how to break into the music industry".. An enthralling read it was, sadly I'm still waiting for that big break.

Books at Castle Point

The Waterstones at Castle Point has got a cafe attached to it at the back, it's a got a huge range of the latest books and you're sure to get sidetracked in there for ten minutes, even if you just pop in for a second. Great bookshop.
