I have to write about Aruba Restaurant in Bournemouth, where I and my hubby celebrated our 60th Birthdays. It has such a tasteful, and exciting ambience, and most importantly is child friendly. I love to take my grandchildren when we have family celebrations, and the atmosphere, helpfull staff and excellent food always leads us to return many times with family and friends. We have often returned along with friends from all over the country and in turn have recommended it to business associates and their families. 5* in Ambience, friendly professional staff, and food pertaining to all ages.

I've never eaten here but have been to the bar on a night out. They now host jazz juice which is a beach party/70s night full of great music. The atmosphere is great and the balcony overlooks the sea. There are showers on teh balcony though which is a little odd

This is an amazing place, or is it just the location.. certainly during the summer months this is the first place i would recommend, its just lovely with great views, especially as the sun sets. Its not cheap but it falls into that 'you get what you pay for' catergory and many a top night has been had here. Parking is good too.

Really good location, great food, good choice of drinks and nice atmosphere. Pricey though and you feel as if you are paying quite a bit extra for the location but is worth the view and relaxed

I've only had drinks here but really enjoyed the chilled atmosphere. Obviously the big selling point is the amazing view of the sea, pier and the beach and on a sunny day is just superb to wind down to (kinda reminded me of a caribbean bar - they even have real parrots!). I've read the menu and it looks really good so can't wait to sample it. My other half has had lunch there and says it's really good food.

Aruba has spectacular views over Bournemouth Pier and the beach and there's a nice outdoor space too.

It's really light and airy inside with a caribbean feel and the staff are really nice too.

The menu's quiet pricey but the foods nice.

I recommend the burgers, chicken ceasar salads and sweet potatoe chips

Best place to go for something to eat, going to be gorgeous in the summer, you can see straight along Bournemouth pier. Only down point, it's a little light, so you have to move on when you start feeling tipsy! Otherwise people can see what you're doing.

Not cheap, but good

Brace yourself because it's a bit pricey in here, but if you can afford it (or someone else is paying) it's worth it for the views and for the excellent atmosphere and good service.
