Aladdins Cave

For years this was a grubby and dark place which sold everything. Now it's much lighter and cleaner which still sells everything with the added bonus of selling alcohol now (which saves having to trawl around ASDA). Some of the prices are much higher than ASDA though. They also sell lots of Polish products (from Poland, not shoe polish) which is good if you can read the labels.

More than a newsagents

If you want to pick up your newspaper or buy a snack then this place is perfect. However, it is much more than just a newsagents. It's now licensed to sell alcohol so is like a mini off licence now. Plenty of food basics now too and it's brighter and cleaner too since it's recent revamp.

If you're just popping in for something you've run out of, or you need a paper or some chewing gum, this place (by the radio station) is fine.
