Sunday Best

07 Jul 08, 12:21 4* Above expectations

We were so impressed by our meal that we had on saturday night that we went straight back with the family for Sunday Breakfast. Also have tried the afternoon tea...delicious and been there for lunch with the girls & also have tried the excellent Sunday Lunch. Everytime have had Great Food Service is good but not excellent as sometimes is a little slow. Ask Tom to make you a Long Island Iced tea

"Read all about it!"

17 May 08, 06:36 3* As expected

OK so I didn't try the Print Room but I couldn't find the Ink Bar on this system and it's in the same building which, as a matter of local interest, used to be part of the Daily Echo ;o) The Ink Bar basically leads through to the Print Room and I've been here a couple of times, once for coffee and once at night for drinks. Hey I'm not gonna hoodwink you, it aint cheap but it's right at the bottom of Richmond Hill and in such a gorgeous building. The cocktails were really delicious too. I popped my head through the door to have a look at the Print Room and it looked old fashioned with a modern twist - I'm looking forward to eating here at some stage.

Amazing food in an amazing location

15 May 08, 09:39 5* Beyond expectations

Prepared to be amazed! This building is beautiful, from reading info on the menu it turns out the main eating room used to hold the massive printing presses for the Bournemouth Echo back in the day before digital... The ceilings are so high it makes you dizzy! The decor is perfect for the setting. The food isn't the cheapest in B'mth but the service is great and the food itself delicious. We'll be going back, but only on a very special occasion to allow for the prices!

Stylishly upmarket

10 Apr 08, 17:19 4* Above expectations

This place takes its name from the fact that it's in what used to be part of the Bournemouth Echo. The bar's a good place for a drink (standy for the credit card to take a pounding, though) and the food and service in the restaurant is excellent.
