Beyond expectations
Went to West beach for Valentines and it was lovely. The set menu was full of variety and even had a good range of vege options. The weather was shocking the night we went, so we didn't get to see much of the view but it was still cosy and warm inside. There was live music which was perfect, not too loud not too quiet. Lovely evening, not the cheapest but you get what you pay for!

Best fish in town. If you like your fish and you like it fresh and you like to be able to see where the fish was caught, then come here. Theres some great views, and a real buzz here, in the summer everyone piles out onto the decking and its like being on holiday.

I visited this restaurant with 8 friends for a girl lunch and everyone had a wonderful time. The location is lovely, with wonderful views out to sea. The menu offers a wide variety of seafood dishes but also items such as a great Steak Sandwich or fat, juicy sausages. There was a great range of specials on the day we visited - although everyone chose from the main menu in the end. Wine isn't cheap but the Pinot Grigio we had at £19 a bottle was gorgeous. I would recommend this for a romantic meal for 2 as well as a group celebration - they really do cater for everyone!

Come here when someone else is paying. It's really nice, right down by the beach with great views out over the sea, spacious and airy with good service and a lot to choose from.

Located on the sea front only a short distance from Bournemouth pier, this restaurant is packed in summer where there is seating outside on a veranda. The restaurant specialises in seafood, which is caught locally and delivered daily. I had a delicious meal the last time I went, if not a little expensive, but then this is expected considering the location on the promenade. Big glass windows offer fantastic views out to sea. There are a variety of dishes for all ages and all the dishes are beautifully presented.
