But I only came in for one thing....

How could you not like it in here. Gone are the days of it being embarassing to shop in Tesco. The upstairs, which they installed last year, was the best thing they did here meaning that there is now a huge selection of electricals, clothing and housewares amongst everything else which they used to sell. If you only go in for one item you're almost guarenteed to come out with a trolley full of stuff. I recently bought a new Sat Nav from here and some really cute baby clothes for my impending new arrival. Really cheap but top quality. The petrol's pretty cheap too. Be careful not to push your trolley too hard as you get to the end of the escalator or you may end up on your face.

All you could possibly need!

I love this Tesco. It has everything you could want, from washing machines, to clothes, dvd players to spagetti hoops!

And it's not cramped into a small space either.

There's always somewhere to park and the do it yourself till is easy to use, and never has a particularly big queue.

really big

20 May 08, 13:01 5* Beyond expectations

This tesco's is easy to get to and is really big so always has enough of everything.

It also has a large home and cd/dvd section so you can get lots of things in one place.

The carpark's really busy though - particularly bad on a saturday or sunday afternoon!

Love that it's 24 hour!

A huge Tesco store that has pretty much everything you'd ever want! Upstairs they sell electrical items from TVs to mobile phones to fridges. That's also where you'll find the clothes section - womens, mens and kids. Downstairs there's the homewares dept, opticians and the main grocery section. Petrol station on site too. The only thing its missing is a Pharmacy - but I like that it doesn't quite have everything, otherwise Tesco would take over the world!

Upstairs for bargains...

05 May 08, 10:07 4* Above expectations

Hooray - all the building work is now long over and this Tesco has an upstairs. Head up the Gladiator style travelator and you've not only got bargain TV's, computers and DVD's but you also have a massive clothing area.

Downstairs has all the usual food stuffs with a petrol station just on the edge of the car park off Castle Lane. The car park often has a hand car wash doing valeting while you shop. Great idea!

Love it!

I've shopped here for years, finding their produce the freshest, prices the best and love the "Finest" range. It is very well laid out and, since the extension upstairs, the clothing section, esp for kids, is fab!

Massive

16 Apr 08, 16:40 3* As expected

A monster of a store that sells everything from food to homewares and sports equipment.

I've never popped into Tescos to pick up a treadmill, but one day fI just might

Everything you would expect in a Tesco store and they are good enough to keep the shelves fully stocked. Good on you Tess and Co

24 Hour opening and it's huge to boot!

16 Apr 08, 16:16 4* Above expectations

This is one of those huge Tesco stores that you can get lost in if you're not careful. Thankfully all the aisles are numbered and there are plentiful supplies of employees to ensure that instances of this are kept to a minimum. There are televisions, fridge-freezers, groceries, a pharmacy, an optician, clothes, stationary, I'm yet to find the kitchen sink aisle but I'm sure it's there somewhere...
