This place was brilliant, they have live jazz bands playing and we had a fantastic night out, went there for a friends birthday who loves jazz and we had a wild time!! the staff here are lovely and very friendly, and the atmosphere was fabulous, the drinks were very reasonable and the facilities clean. We were able to park easily too. Definately recommend this place, its fab!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I was staying Bristol this week and was wondering back to the hotel when I heard great jazz wafting out from the open doors.... they look like they've got a pretty full schedule of bands on and a good old atmosphere

Very close the water, this pub is a fantastic live jazz venue. If you go there on a popular night, you can forget getting to the bar or the toilet.

Luckily outside is full of benches, and you can even go down and sit by the water. Theres loads of other pubs that share the same outside area so it can get very busy in the summer.

The Old Duke serves Stowford Press so always has my vote, the bar staff are cool and the walls are plastered with promotions from old Jazz gigs.

The rolls are well overpriced at £2 a shout and they no longer serve hot food. But if you want to get your Jazz hands out, go there in the evening.
