It's an old converted church and there's loads of different climbs depending on your ability. Everyone's really friendly there - no one looks at you like a weirdo if you're not very good. I went as a beginner and it was great. Climbing can be quite tiring. It's £6.50 to get in and you can hire some climbing gear. You can stay for as long as you want I think.

The climbing centre is an old converted church in St Werburghs. Inside there are three main climbing areas (well four if you count the circuit upstairs) - the bouldering area, the big wall (lead climbing) and the top roping area. You can tell it's a good place to climb as it can get really busy at times. However you never normally have to wait for a route to become free.
Adult entry (April 2008) is £6.50 for an adult. If you need to hire any gear, this is available for a small charge.
The centre also does a range of training courses. If you are a complete beginner you can come here and learn.
There is also a good social side to the centre, with regular trips to the Miners Arms or the Duke of York after closing time.
