Beyond expectations
great honest itialian food. not too expensive. live music most nights. great ambiance. brilliant.
we are getting married in the summer and bocabar is our special place. it is where we got engaged, celebrated our 1st anniversery and we will be having everyone over for a meal the day before we're married.
p.s- try it, and you'll always come back
p.p.s- try the calzone... you wont finish it!

As expected
I used to love going to Bocabar as it was a great venue serving good food in a relaxed atmosphere. Lately, I have found the service unfriendly and there are too many small children in there. Seems more like a creche, where you can't hear yourself speak than a go pace to have a drink and relax - boo!

Above expectations
Whether it's for pizzas in the evening or a delicious breakfast in the morning, bocabar is a popular destination and usually busy. The food is beautiful with the only downside being the sometime patchy service - You get the impresion the staff sometimes believe their own hype....!
