Above expectations
As a kid in plymouth it was always a treat to go over on the Cremyl ferry to Mt Edgecombe. To be fair it is still a treat to go over and have a wander round. Last time i went i had toruble trying to negotiate my dogs onto the ferry who though i was trying to kill them and protested loudly at being put on board.

As expected
I love going on this ferry over to Cremyll & Mount Edgcumbe, its a fantastic way to enter into Cornwall, passing by the Royal william yard and mayflower international marina. The pub at the quay (cornwall) is great, but book well in advance as they get very busy, especially on Sundays for their carvery.
The ferry runs approx every 15 minutes and leaves the Plymouth side just off Cremyll Street in Stonehouse. Lovely for taking a walk around mount Edgcumbe and cremyll.
