Had a meal at the wine bar yesterday - burger and chips (gorgeous); - two courses for just £12.95. Really nice atmosphere in the downstairs restaurant, the staff were great; we had a 10 month year old with us and they were very accomodating (even when she was sick on the floor).... Stayed in the bar afterwards and even took advantage of the sunshine and sat outside for a bit aswell. Great location in trendy Montpellier.

Monty P's wine bar is a good shot! Yeah, it's no club or music but a good starting point.

WIne suggests the students stay away - correct! Sometime college boys/gals come to play but they mean well.

Expensive... but worth it

Full of college boys with the collars up and silver spoons in their mouths.

Used to be a great bar but now it's full of underage toffs seeing how drunk they can get on daddy's money....

The Beehive round the corner is much much better

The bar's got a really nice feel to it. It's the kind of place you order some chips and a bottle of wine, sit outside for hours in the sun and just watch the world go by.

Days could be lost!

A real hang out for the masterminds behind Cheltenham. You will always find someone who knows someone you know if you’re a local to the area! If your looking for a high flying, successful, mature man then get down there!!!!!

Not as pretentious as the name might sound. It's a staple part of the "Montpellier Crawl" ending up in town where you find yourself going side to side more than you're going forward.

Indoor and outdoor, it's a pleasant experience where you can avoid the Lower Hight Street type.

I really like this bar. Its so friendly and situated in a really nice spot. I prefer it in the daytime, especially in the summer. Its seems to have a patio area thats always directly infront of the sun!I love to laze here on a Saturday afternoon with a glass of Pimms, its so relaxing.

Trendy Montpellier

I've always had a nice time here, both on a night out for drinks, and for food.

The menu is simple but really nice - the cheesy chips are probably the best I've had that i can remember.

It's more up market than some of Cheltenham's bars - people actually say excuse me! It's those posh Montpellier people probably!

A nice place for a drink and has outdoor heaters too as people often spill out onto the pavement when it's busy.
