we have eaten at the restarant on quiete a few occations as we go to the dragon palace take away in the high street. we have never had any problems with waiting to long or problems with the food . they are friendly and polite, parking can be a problem if you go in the evening as it is usally busy. we have found the prices resonable they also do a good lunch time buffet.on the whole what you would expect from a good chinese resterant/take away.

Shredded Chicken

06 May 08, 21:18 3* As expected

One of the few chinese restaurants to serve shredded chicken in pancakes rather than duck, which I hate! Staff are friendly and food is good although, if you have ordered a takeaway, it can be a little slow.

New Year of the Dragon

30 Apr 08, 09:05 3* As expected

We decided to eat here at New Year as we wanted a quiet evening. They advised us to come fairly early as a disco was due to start at 9pm (which sounds a little odd for a Chinese restaraunt). My concern was that because we were eating so early the night would drag but the amount of food kept us busy (plus the wine). I tasted duck for the first time in my life and thought I would hate it but actually it was gorgeous. Yes it was a little pricey but it was new year...I'd probably go there again but I'm not in a great hurry. There's free parking round the back and the service was exceptionally good. Maybe they need a lick of paint on the outside. They have a nice exotic fish tank in the waiting area too ;o)

Expensive, but worth it if you want a great meal!

29 Apr 08, 15:55 4* Above expectations

This restaurant is deceptively good, and deceptively pricey. To those looking for a top chinese meal out you can't beat it, though it's probably not the place . You do pay for what you get - the food is superb and the service is second to none.

Great Food

26 Apr 08, 13:08 4* Above expectations

Drive past this restaurant almost everyday. Always thought it looked a bit cheap and dirty from the outside.Decided to try this last week. The service is great and friendly the food was out of this world. Free parking at the rear. Open 7 days a week. The price lets it down a bit as whilst its almost worth it. It is expensive. If you fancy a treat then go. Fancy a quick take away then it can be expensive and you can get cheaper down the road.
