This two level club/pub has been and is one of the best liked places in the city. The pub feel is always present but the club feel takes over as you get further into the evening! the student element is always here and has been since i first came here 20 yrs ago! The prices because of the entrants are ok and the open times stay onto the early mornings

No need to dress up for this one. Timepiece is what a nightclub should be, all about having fun. People who just don't care. It's not a parade, it's not a meat market, it's for everyone that is or was a real student. Just get there early and go to the bar, you don't want to be stood out in those queues.

The club itself is not on the favourite list of mine however quite like the bar downstairs and the music on a Friday is good with Indie thrown in. However the best thing about Timepiece is the magnificant burger bar outside! At 1 in the morning they really hit the spot! Great with the chilli sauce on offer!

A favourite with students and twenty-something's, Timepiece is a great night whenever you choose to go. During the week, they offer great student nights out. Friday nights are a personal favourite of mine, with a mixture of indie and chart playing. Saturday nights are also great and it's always my first choice on a night out in Exeter. When you enter, there is a bar you can have a couple of drinks in before you head upstairs to one of the two nightclubs. Whatever you do, do NOT leave without trying one of the famous Timepiece burgers!
Good but not great...

Timepiece is a good place to go out, it has a quite a lot to offer. There is an outside area with tables, which is now especially useful for smokers. On the ground-floor there is a large amount of seating as well as a dance area. It can get busy but the bar is usually well staffed. Drinks are reasonably priced. Downstairs has quite a "pubby" feel to it. Upstairs on the other hand is a proper dance floor. You have to pay extra to get up there, i think its £5. They do various different themed nights during the week. Fridays are indie night and are pretty good. Timepiece is popular with quite alot of people but for me I think the Cavern is better
