Above expectations
These guys are superb, we hired 4 bikes during half term at easter and cycled all the way to the turf hotel! The ride takes in two pubs and is really flat, the guys helped us all get the right size bike and were really good about the time we could have the bikes for! When we returned i said to him, how far have we been, about 4 miles? He said, oh no, more like 13!! Then my backside reminded me of the distance by not allowing me to walk very well! Great though, well worth the effort

Above expectations
Great little bike and canoe hire shop situated on the quay in Exeter. Reasonably priced where you can hire either mode of transport and make you way along the canal. Friendly and helpful staff. There are a couple of pubs on the way, double locks and turf locks so you can get refreshments!

Above expectations
This is an annual outing for us - pick up a canoes and make you way down the Exeter Canal - Don't be deceived - you seem to get to the first pub fairly quickly where you have to get the canoes out and walk them around the locks. It is then a long haul down to the Turf Inn for a swift half beofre the return - It is a long way and if sunny don't forget the sun block!
