Above expectations
There are lots of little hideaways in here where you can squirrel yourself away for a quiet pint, but beware! You are paying 'hotel' rather 'pub' prices. When the Exeter Winter Ales Festival was at County Hall this was a handy stop off on the way to and from the train station.

Above expectations
Little cobbled entrance, bars either side. Very old building, and apparently quite haunted. Rooms are small but adequate, and the locality is great for a few drinks in town

Above expectations
This is one of the oldest hotels in exeter and reputadly haunted! It has 3 bars and very popular with the college kids from exeter! Its so full of character inside and the oldest lounge/bar has many great old pictures that show previous royalty that have visited the city!!
