Above expectations
Really like the Firehouse for a chilled night. Good food reasonably priced and very reasonable on drinks. Large outside area. Tends to attract students because of the prices but the do tend to be mature students.

Above expectations
This is a lovely place to spend an evening. It has quite a rustic feel to it, maybe because theres a lot of candle light and the building is quite old. Theres a nice outside area which is great in the Summer. Inside, theres a bar on the groundfloor with friendly staff. Drinks are reasonablly priced. Upstairs there are different areas, there are plenty of tables and chairs as well as big comfy sofas. It has a nice relaxed atmosphere even though it can get quite busy. An enjoyable place to drink a bottle of wine...or two...
