good food, quick friendly service, fantastic cocktails. Never been when there hasn't been a good atmosphere, even at quieter times. Have been for countless birthdays as cater for a range of tastes and price ranges yet surprisingly few people seem to have heard of it, presumabley because of it's out of the way location. I would say however the location makes it ideal for diners that like to eat on a friday or saturday without going into the city.

Rubbish

Well below expectations
This has been a pub for a long time now, and I walk past it everytime. Go to the Black Horse or Hole in the Wall. Just don't bother with this place. It's just poor, nothing good going for it, maybe the beer is cheap?

As expected
although this is a really popular place and the cocktails are great-especially the champagne ones!! i wasn't overly impressed with the food or service. the food was cold and half of it wasn't what we had ordered.the bar staff on the other hand were friendly but need to keep up with keeping the bar clear and clean!!!

Love Starz, really good food, especially the fajitas. American and mexican menu. Large and very good cocktail and shot list. The bar downstairs is lovely with as good an atmosphere as the restaurant upstairs. I would recommend booking though as they get very booked up.

This is a great place to go for an evening out. There are 2 parts to Starz, you can either go to the restaurant upstairs or, my preferred choice is the cocktail bar downstairs. Both areas are good, the food upstairs is American style and is very tasty. The decor is really cool and relaxed, with dining tables and chairs, as well as a big comfy sofas. The restaurant area seems popular for big parties, many of my friends have been on work do's etc here and have really enjoyed it. However, the best part is the cocktail bar. It is really chilled out and plush. There are sectioned off booths with expensive drapes and leather sofas. The cocktails are amazing, I strongly recommend The Grasshopper. What I really like about it is that you dont have to queue at the bar, but staff will come and take your orders at your table. The drinks are quite expensive with a cocktail costing about £5, but with such a great setting and service its really worth it.
