Sloanes can boast good service, nice decor, and friendly staff.

But the most important element for me is... it's the nearest pub to work.

After work pint!

Have to agree with you there David, very lifeless but I have only been there on weekdays – might be a different story at the weekends!

But, I’ll carry on going there as it’s the closest pub to work...so ticks the box for a couple of pints after a hard day at the office!

Underwhelmed

Had lunch here the other week and it seemed lifeless.

The staff were friendly enough but the place was cold (temperature and atmosphere).

The food took a while to come but it was of good quality and pretty tasty. Could be so much better, you never know it could get better..

This place has such potential. it has just been done up and looks great, very trendy with sofas and chandeliers! They also now have live music and bands playing - just the kind of place Gloucester needs.

However the food is bad, they have a really nice bar menu but it takes soooo long to come your lunch break is nearly over, and if there's more than one of you they can't seem to get all the food out at the same time. it needs Ramsays kitchen nightmares to go in there!

If they got the food right I would go there much more at lunchtimes.
