Above expectations
this place offers a good service but they n!ever seem to have enough till points open. this is rather frustrating when you are in a hurry. the other annoying thing is when 2 members off staff seem to be engrossed in conversation and the queue is just getting bigger and bigger

Below expectations
This is a pretty big bank but big doesnt always mean better! They refuse to open for a few hrs on saturday when the others seem to and the help once your in is limited to only a couple of ladies who always seem to be very busy! The queue in this branch does seem to be huge compared to other banks!

Well below expectations
At the weekend this branch closes it's counters but leaves self service machines open. It is confusing as there are still staff sat behind the counter. Look carefully for the tiny signs telling you if they are open or not otherwise you look like a right plonker waiting around for staff to ignore you

As expected
Although I moved my bank accounts to Natwest because it seemed a good idea at the time, recently I have noticed random bank charges from my account. They often stop and ask if I want to 'take advantage of a new service' when I am simply popping in to do some banking (ha ha I said Banking) Other than that the staff are friendly but the one woman in the call centre was a pain in the butt!!! I dialed the barnstaple number and some woman in Scotland answered and said I didn't phone barnstaple when I did!!!

Well below expectations
If you're going away to University open your student account in the city you'll studying in. They'll have a lot more experience with the type of money issues you'll be dealing with. I opened my account here and it turned out to be a mistake. They didn't understand anything about what was going on.
