I am so sorry to see the loss of this shop as it was a great place to stock up on cards and paper for those times of major spend such as birthdays and Christmas. As the other review said if they had been more expensice like the competition they would have survived.. such a shame

bitz doesnt look the nicest of stores but they have proved you can seel cards and paper alot cheaper than the clintons of the world! Saying that though, they are leaving us so it looks like the big boy has bullied them away! the cards were from 49p and the paper was great for xmas!!

Beyond expectations
this is where I go and stock up on all my cards for friends and family. they do a brilliant offer of 4 cards for 1 pond. sadly they are closing down. how will we manage without them. maybe they will re fit and come back again. bigger and better. heres hoping

Bitz is the most reasonable place in North Devon to but cards and wrapping paper. While other store choose to charge anything from £1 to nearly £5 per card, you can pick up a decent on in Bitz for 49p. Why is it closing? It is a great loss to Barnstaple

Some of the prices you get charged for greeting cards and wrapping paper these days are frankly extortionate. Bitz was a good quality alternative to Clinton Cards. Maybe if it had charged more it'd still be around...
