Beyond expectations
I love going to the cinema, it's my little treat every few months!!! Trouble is the seats are so comfortable I end up nodding off half way thru the films. The main big screen upstairs is the best one to watch movies on althought he smaller ones downstairs are just as good and have more of a 'living room' feel to them!

Above expectations
since this place has been refurbished it is great. they get all the upto date films and have three really nice screens. Advisable to book via the internet though the doors are open to the public for advance bookings by 2pm each day. The staff are great here and run a great place

a pretty old cinema that lies right in the middle of the town, its been re-furbished and really does cater for the new releases now! They do get very busy with all the new releases so its wise to get online and pre-book some tickets as not to get dissapointed!!

had an evening spoiled when my daughter who paid for a film, was then not let in because she was not with an adult. they would not refund her money even though she was not allowed to see the film. despicable and not good to see my daughter in tears

Barnstaple's cinema is a great day or evening out for the whole family. It is reasonably priced and very comfortable. They keep up to date with recent releases too.

Beyond expectations
Barnstaple deserved a better cinema than the Astor for a long time, and what Scott Cinemas have done to the place is just amazing. You can pre-book now, comfortable seats, lots of choice, it's now one of the best cinemas in the UK and a lesson to the big boys in how to do it properly. You don't hear people say that they'll wait for it to come on TV anymore, because they'd rather come here and see a movie how it was meant to be seen!

Beyond expectations
Recently re-vamped cinema. Now 5 screens. All the latest movies and Special screening of classic movies too. friendly staff too. avoid disappointment by booking on-line and collecting ur tkx from the machine inside the foyer.
