like many of the lovely little shops in barnstaple, this great hardware store reminds me of the two ronnies sketch and the open all hours scenareo! The products are sold seperately and the advice is very forward coming! An ideal way to buy your hardware from a human being!

this is the old traditional hardware store that has almost disappeared from our streets. personal service and staff that actually know where to find things. they do everything you could ever need, from nails to gloss paint! would recommend

As expected
There is so much in here that everytime i visit i just stop at the counter on the way in to ask where 'such and such' is. The staff don't mind at all and are happy to help, but if i didn't ask i would get lost amoungst the sky hooks, tartan paint and spirit level bubbles.

Above expectations
Wilden Tools is great for all of those things that you don't think that you can get any more. It's a friendly local alternative to all of those big our of town DIY centres where you either can't find what you want or have to buy in bulk.
