Above expectations
based 2 mins walk from croyde beach. cascades fun pool on site, large supermarket fairly priced food and booze. on site really good live entertainment during peak season

Beyond expectations
never stayed at Ruda, but regularly use Cascades ( the on site swimming pool ) . Its a great size family fun pool, with slides for the big kids and slides for the toddlers. Its an intergrated toddler and adult pool with rapids and fast water areas in the adult bit. All housed in the same pool but the toddler area is clearly defined and sectioned from the adult. Non residents of Ruda can also use the pool facilities. ONe criticism, the water is lovely and warm , but above water level the temperature can be cold and the walk from pool to changing rooms is bloody freezing!!

As expected
Great location just off the beach in Croyde. Its your typical British holiday park, but cascades swimming pool is fab for whiling away a rainy or too hot day! The food on site is pretty good, the entertainment is cheesy, and its pretty noisy there too. But all in all a good place to stay.

Ruda is the best place to go if you have a small family, especially young children there are lots of things for children to do.
Also near by is cascades which is a great place for splashing around and having fun!!
Facillities are good and this is a noisy but fun place to visit or stay.

As expected
Ruda holiday park is your typical family holiday park. It has childrens play areas, arcades, pool, and cheesy evening entertainment. If you want a peacefull holiday then this is not for you.
