As expected
Okay this is a typical library but it is modern and airy and the staff have always been quite helpful to me and my son when i want an obsequre book. Well worth going there.

Beyond expectations
bibrarys should always get 5 stars. they are free to join and you can get out loads of cool books.
This one also has a free internet access for all members. Also, it has a great CD library and a DVD library. All free! Brilliant,

As expected
I was absolutely amazed by how much libraries have changed since I was a little girl. I took my youngest daughter in here and was amazed at the range of services that they provide. I could not only borrow books but rent cd's ,dvd's and also talking books. the service is ever expanding. the staff were helpful, but it is a huge building and I think staff were a little thin on the ground the day I went in. overall excellent

As expected
You can lose a good couple of hours in here, and sometimes the will to live!! It is a very typical 'quiet' library. The service is a bit rubbish but there are plenty of books to choose from.

Above expectations
This library is on 3 floors and has a pretty good reference section which you can use the internet on! The atmosphere here is pretty strict and the staff are not overly helpful! I do like the war section here, its very comprehensive! Its a nice visit esp if you have alot of time to kill

Below expectations
Barnstaple Library's become somewhere that I have to go to out of necessity rather than choice. You real feel like you're taking up someone's time if you dare to ask them anything.
