As expected
I lived a 2 minute walk from this pub for 18 months and only used it twice!! Thats no reflection though, as when i went in I was pleasantly suprised. Its nicely decorated, it has a pool table, the staff were very friendly and its very popular on a sunny day and people watch in Newport!!

the ideal pub to meet friends before going into town. very friendly staff function room / pool room and beer garden out the back ideal for bbqs owners also own the new pub The Fountain opposite the bus station in town

i really like this pub, it has a lovely little terrace outside at the front and a really cosy little bar inside!! Its great on a sunday for example as they do show some footie and its not right in the centre of town so the people you get here are much nicer people!!

This pub is ok. It is fun to visit for a good Sunday session. Staff are friendly and drinks a good price. It has the benefit of being in Newport so you can sober up a little by walking into town to the next pub stop
