As expected
This place isn't really my cup of tea. As Dave L said, it wasn't the best when it was the lamb. A tad rough and uncomfortable. Lots of drinks to choose from though.

Isn't this place called Monkey Island now?

Below expectations
Monkey Island is a terrible name for what was a great drinking pub back when it was The Check Inn. It got a little bit unpleasant when it became The Lamb, but now it's been refurbished it looks like it could be worth a visit again. The only trouble is that every time I go past it seems to be shut!
