Above expectations
If you cant afford to buy from clarkes and you want a standard pair of shoes, mens or womans then Stead & Simpsons has to be the shop to be in! Especially now that they do the measuring here which i find invaluable for my kids now that there feet are growing so quickly! A great shop with huge amounts to choose from!

As expected
For me stead and simpson are trying to be the next clarks. Not that it really matters. They have a good range of sensible shoes and at a good price. The staff are good with their measuring services too.

Beyond expectations
staff helpful and willing to spend the time when I went in with my rather fussy daughter. nothing was too much trouble. good seltion of mens andladies shoes. prices were average but quality is good
