Below expectations
A little disappointing as its such a small store, also beware if you have a pushchair or are in a wheelchair as the aisles are so very narrow, it can be a real pain. They stock the very basic provisions, so its good for that!

As expected
very busy store big problem with the very narrow isles can hardly swing a cat around but the fruit is fresh and the bread is still warm nice selection of fresh ham meats and cheese

this is a really mini somerfield and stocks a very basic range. the only problem is space. it is really tight for space so definitely don't bring a push chair in. normally queues at the till end, but overall a really handy place to go if you have forgotten something

Below expectations
This place has tried to fit a bigger supermarket into a tiny space. There is no room in the isles and the checkouts are tiny too! I only go in here if i really have to

Above expectations
Give this place an award. I think that Somerfield on Barnstaple High Street has got to be the smallest supermarket in the UK. You can normally find what you need it you can manage to squeeze past everyone who's trying to squeeze past you!
