great food and great atmosphere. this is the locals local. have been going for years but have had a few owners over time. restaurant at the moment is good and the food very up market. don't know how long the locals will put up with posh food though

This is my local... a great place, but when I first stepped inside I thought it would be full of old men, but thats not the case at all. There's a team of livley bar staff who have time to have a laugh with you. There is always a range of random people, young and old who are all a great bunch. So any night of the week you can come and have a drink and then you can sit down at the end of the week, for their legendary sunday roast! Some weekends they put on entertainment, sometimes a disco, sometimes a live band.
