Below expectations
the above are really interesting as ive experienced both sides of the spectrum in here. I have to be honest and say that i have used the costcutter more because of the post office. The staff here are not great as they really dont seem to care!! I would only use this place evry so often!

large convenience store / off licence and post office large choice of stock. large isles so good for families with small children and prams.based in centre of fremington near chemist and fish n chip shop. free parking

I think this store relies on being known for the name. I ahve ofetn popped in here after my son finished swimming at the school next door and found the staff rather offish and quite happy to chat to a local person who was just stood there, rather than concentrate on serving me!.. bitter.. me?.. of course not!

Jusging by the other reviews for this store, i always must visit on a good day! I don't mind this shop at all. I would never do a big shop in a place this size and price but if i'm on the way home and have forgotten something it is ideal. I always manage to get a bit of chit chat and a giggle out of the staff too!

It's meant to be a convenience store but sometimes it seems like they're trying their hardest to be as inconvenient as possible. You know what you're getting with Londis and this does nothing to improve the reputation.

ok so theres a choice of 2 convenience stores in this small village LONDIS or COSTCUTTERS - the latter holds the Post Office. They are pretty much of a muchness. Londis is under new management and in chaos, Costcutter staff are at best grumpy at worst down right rude. Might be worth jumping in the car and driving into Barnstaple to get ur shopping - I do!
