Below expectations
Ok, went there once for a meal.....it needs a total refurb whatever way you spin it. Food was very basic, along with the surroundings, staff very friendly though. Spend some money and get more punters in.

Very much the poor relation in this little village, the pub serves up a good pint but it really could do with a pep up and clean! The service is really nice but can lack numbers in the week as most people tend to go into barnstaple!

As expected
Not a lover of this place. It has competition right next door and this is the one that tends to loose out. Quite a quiet pub but feels like it needs a make over and general updating.

Granted i have only ever been to this pub on a weeknight but it is usually quiet and relaxed. There is ample seatin by the bar and in the oub it has a dart board and a pool table. Drinks are standard price. Nothing special but its ok
