Below expectations
Well, i have given them a few chances now, last occasion was taking someone to lunch, and it took 20 minutes for them to tell us that what we had ordered wasnt available, then another 30 minutes for the food to come out, and there was only one other table in the restauant! Disappointing, along with the last visit which was a similarly annoying experience, lovely surroundings,beautiful conservatory, just dont bother with the food, sorry!

beautifull old hotel looking warn out very neglected staff are,nt very friendly either the bar manager has a face as long as a donkey used to be the place for great sunday carvery. beautifull conservatory dining area nice place foe weddings could do alot better with a refurb

Above expectations
The beautiful surroundings is the saviour for Cedars. The gardens are simply stunning. Havn't been overly impressed with the food here and you can't really mess up on drinks. The staff are friendly enough. Good for drinks, nip somewhere else to eat.

So what is this place? Is it a pub? Is it a hotel? Is it a restaurant? No its Cedars! It tries to be so many things that until it picks which one it wants to be and concentrates on doing that well it'll continue to do lots of things badly.

Above expectations
set in beautiful suroundings, quiet and secluded. It has a couple of bars, has a lovely restaurant and on a nice summers night, its great to sit amongst the Cedar Trees and while away the evening over a nice glass of your favourite tipple. Cedars also has ample accommodation. Its priced at the higher end of the market so ideal for those "special" occasions. It can also cater for small to medium sized corporate events with ample meeting room facilities. One word of warning for business clients, you get charged for everything!! Including pens and paper and sweets for the meeting tables.
